Weber's USA Trip 2018
Today's ride took us to Highway 12, supposedly one of America's most beautiful streets. At least according to the camping ground host. And it really did offer some great views over the surrounding countryside. And snow. The road leads partly up to almost 3000 meters above sea level (9700 feet). Luckily the streets were cleared so we could enjoy the ride without having to mount snow chains.
The voyage got a little bit scary though as well. The road lead partly over narrow places where it goes left and right steeply down the hill. A very queasy feeling, but also exciting.
Our destination today was a RV Park in Cannonville, near the entrance to Bryce Canyon, one of the most famous National Parks in the US, and therefore well-attended. So we spent the rest of the day with some work and the kids were also playing some basketball. An early bed rest should make us fit for the next day.
