Weber's USA Trip 2018
Today we were back on the road. The plan was to have a roughly 4 hour drive from Panama City Beach to Coden, Alabama. In the morning we did our laundry (4 machines) before we left the park around 11am. The drive was pretty smooth (although it had some heavy traffic) and we were looking forward to be on the campground soon. But suddenly we stood in front of a ferry station at the end of a peninsula. The GPS in the RV hadn't turned off the ferries so it tried to use one over the bay. Unfortunately our 30 foot RV was too long for the ferry, so we had to drive around the whole bay and used another 2:15 hours. Finally around 8 pm we arrived at the RV park.
In darkness we had to park back into our slot and hook it up. With a bit of zig-zagging we got it in and after a short dinner we all fell tired into our beds, glad to have a day of rest the next day.
