Weber's USA Trip 2018
Today we said goodbye to Dallas. It was amazing, wonderful days here and we will happily think back to the "lone star state" (although we wouldn't leave it yet). Todays route would bring us farther west to Lubbock.
After 1-2 hours the landscape changed drastically. It became more and more barren and looked more like the "real" Texas to us. Although it was very barren, we thought it's beautiful. We made good progress on the drive and reached Lubbock at nightfall. Lubbock is (based on their own words) "the friendliest city in the us". To eat we got some large pizzas from "Pizza Hut" which we ate on the new campground.
The ground even had an indoor-pool, which the kids wanted to try of course. Unfortunately the water had a lot of chlorine and they soon had enough (and didn't even wanted to go back to it).
Unfortunately we still haven't seen tumbleweeds, so we were hoping for the next days.
