Weber's USA Trip 2018

Hello everyone and welcome to the travel blog of the Weber Family. It's the year 2018 and we're about to start our long awaited journey to the US. Not only to visit the country, but also to finally visit and see part of our family. Although we have seen some who visited us over the years, there is still a big part who we can't wait to finally meet.
Also, in these days we tend to have friends all over the world which we only know from being online. This journey will hopefully give us the possibility to meet some of them in person, giving the words and voices a face.
The travel is in our heads for years now, but due to personal reasons (mainly building our house) we had to postpone it again and again. But now it's finally here and we can't wait.
We start on tuesday, the 6th of february and will fly from Switzerland to Miami. There we will do a tour around the sunny state and visit the first relatives. After that we pickup our 30-foot camper and travel westward, towards california. We honestly have no fixed route yet and don't know what to expect. The general plan though is to slowly, but steadily travel further and see all the different and amazing landscapes.
Around mid april we will return the camper and catch a plane to NY and visit a big part of our family in the NJ area. And, of course, to visit the Big Apple.
So, if you want to join us a bit on the long journey and hear about our experiences, feel free to grab a seat, get some popcorn and join us on our journey. We can't (or better don't want to) promise daily updates, but hopefully it will be worth your time.
