Weber's USA Trip 2018
Today we finally drove to Terry and Bruno. In the morning we prepared the camper and the kids were able to go to the velcro jumping pad one more time. After that were able to get rid of our sewage on a special lot, as the dumping station was out of order, before we finally drove off towards the south.
We drove through the suburbs of Jacksonville and later also through the city itself. We were lucky it was sunday and the traffic was pretty sparse. Only in front of a church we got into a bigger traffic jam, where the mass seemed to be over. Unbelievable how many people were at that church and now on their way back home.
Around midday we arrived at the farm of Terry, a bit south of Jacksonville. And the farm was really amazing. In front of the building was a big area, where you can take the horses for dressage riding. Behind the house are two big fields, that's where the two horses live. Behind that was a pond and a bit more land. Terry and Bruno greeted us very warmly and later we were also welcomed by the three dogs Bear, Grough and Foxy. For lunch we had hotdogs and after that we helped Terry with the horses. With joy we collected the horse manure from the fields. "With joy"? Yes, really.... because we used a mini-tractor to collect it and the kids (and also daddy) were allowed to drive it. That way the chores were real fun and we were happy to help. Later we also met Dan, the grand-nephew of Terry. For lunch we had two large Pizzas and the kids could watch some TV (the Emoji-Movie) while the adults had their "boring" talks.
With great new experiences and awesome new acquaintances we went to bed and were looking forward to more poop collecting the next day.
