Weber's USA Trip 2018
On wednesday we had to say good-bye to Terry, Dan and Bruno. Technically we already said good-bye to Dan the night before, as he went to work pretty early. After breakfast we prepared the RV and then the time had come. With a heavy heart and a crying as well as a laughing eye we said farewell to Terry, Bruno and the dogs. It has been some amazing days and it was hard to say goodbye. Luckily we might see them again in New York at the end of the trip.
The drive itself was very entertaining for us adults, but a bit long and boring for the kids. We drove for about 6 hours to Panama City and together with some stops to shop food we needed almost the whole day. But as a reward the campingground was nearly perfect. It was voted among the Top-10-Campgrounds in the US by the magazine "Trailer Life" and we soon learned why. There were 2 pools, a volley-ball field, a basketball court, a gym, a playground and all in mint condition. That also eplained the high price of nearly 110 dollars per night.
Except for a short expedition around the ground we didn't do much, except preparing David's birthday.
