It rained all night long off and on. It was raining when we went to do chores in the morning. What a mess. The water ran like a river right down through the horse stalls. The horse trailer was surrounded by water and the round pen where I had worked the horses a couple days ago was filled.
Dan moved the horses to higher ground and better pens. I knew we weren't allowed to do that so I had him go to the office. He said, "I am going to tell them we moved the horses." I said, "No, ask them, don't tell them."
He did ask and the check in attendant had to call the owner to make sure it was OK. It was, so I don't have to worry about it. By the afternoon chores a lot of the water had gone down and the maintenance man had used his roller and made a real mess. (The photos are from afternoon,)
No one in the whole camp rode today because the trail was filled with water, too. So we did laundry and I painted. The cougar is coming along, but I still have about half of it to go. When I finish a painting on vacation, I like to go to Micheal's and buy a frame and sometimes a mat. It is easier to keep it from getting damaged that way.

I am hoping we can ride tomorrow since it is supposed to be sunny and up to 60. It will be 69 by the end of the week again.
God Bless, Pam
