Out West Wanderings II
Today we were up at 5:30 and packing the rest of the RV for our trip to Arizona. I had been watching the weather for a couple of days and knew that there would be a chance of lake effect snow. If only we had left yesterday during that beautiful Spring weather! (I noticed that some of my tulips were peeking through the mulch.) But we only hit a small flurry near Cleveland, Ohio before we turned south and got away from the weather. But even without snow, the wind has been pushing the RV hauling the three-horse trailer all over the place.

Corry to Pendleton, KY
Today we were up at 5:30 and packing the rest of the RV for our trip to Arizona. I had been watching the weather for a couple of days and knew that there would be a chance of lake effect snow. If only we had left yesterday during that beautiful Spring weather! (I noticed that some of my tulips were peeking through the mulch.) But we only hit a small flurry near Cleveland, Ohio before we turned south and got away from the weather. But even without snow, the wind has been pushing the RV hauling the three-horse trailer all over the place.
We are headed for Pendleton, Kentucky where we reserved the same bed and barn we had stayed at last year. The apartment is in the barn and we only have to open our door and walk across the barn aisle to check on the two horses. As always, we have our poodle, Jax with us. He just got groomed a couple days ago and looks so bare. He is happy to travel with us and brought along the squeaky toy that PetSmart gave him.
It is 3:00 pm, the sun is shining and we expect to get to our overnight stop by 6:00. Stay tuned for more Out West Wanderings.
