Out West Wanderings II

This morning was wash day. We were going from the Superstition camp to the Catalina horse camp and decided to go into Apache Junction and do our laundry.

We had SO much. Two winter barn coats, two regular jackets and several sweatshirts. I needed to wash bedding and ended up with two supersized washers that were supposed to hold 5 loads and one that was supposed to hold three loads. I used four dryers and was rotating things. I ended up forgetting my three towels. ? I am not sure what else was in there. So, we have one towel between us left. I will be going to Walmart and replenishing. They were old and had come with the camper, so I really don’t care much.

We were able to find a spot next to a tree. The horses didn’t get corrals, but we will keep our eyes open as people leave and

move them into one.

I really like it here. It is like coming home. You know where the bathhouses are, where to get water for your horses, which trails are good, and which aren’t.

We signed up for a week and will extend it to two if all goes well.
We are blessed, Pam
