Out West Wanderings II

Yesterday started out poorly, but made up for it later. We traveled fairly flat, good highways. The scenery was boring, but every once in a while we would see windmills. The modern kind. When we pulled off for lunch, I saw an old foundation with the old windmill you picture being out west.

Even with the delay we were in our new camp at the Cowboy RV Park near Lubbock by 3:15. We had come 358 miles and it had only taken 8 1/2 hours. Dan fixed the electric cord and we had water and sewer, allowing me to flush out all the lines of the "pink" water. Another plus is it is much warmer (49 degrees).

So blessings on you! Only one more stop at the Lazy Sue Ranch in Demming,NM before we reach our destination in Catalina, Arizona.
