We managed to get into Chester on the "Pontypandy" bus Monday before the forecast rain & gale force winds arrived at our doorstep for the rest of the week. No holes in this boat! She stood firm & dry, as you feel the wind slamming up against her. How exciting! It was a good week to get some work done.
We made the news this week in a feature on the boat electronics in the "Towpath Talk" newspaper. That's my boat staring at me from the article thanks to Rob & his electronic wizardry. The rain has followed us, so Saturday we visited Ulverston, a charming market town & wandered around the cobbled streets to visit the Laurel & Hardy Museum. Stan Laurel was born here. The museum runs their movies continuously, so we sat & watched a few. Still get a giggle.
