We managed to get into Chester on the "Pontypandy" bus Monday before the forecast rain & gale force winds arrived at our doorstep for the rest of the week. No holes in this boat! Week 19 - We Made the News

We managed to get into Chester on the "Pontypandy" bus Monday before the forecast rain & gale force winds arrived at our doorstep for the rest of the week. No holes in this boat! She stood firm & dry, as you feel the wind slamming up against her. How exciting! It was a good week to get some work done.

the whole system is the control panel screen which Jon & Rob spent a lot of time gazing over. It can tell you anything, including what I had for breakfast!
After working for 3 days, an escape was planned from Stalag 13. We hired a car & took off to Barrow-In-Furness to annoy the rellies. Well, what is family for? Still can't get 1st place in the obligatory Friday Night Quiz, but inching our way up the ladder at equal 2nd.
The south has the Cornish Pasty, but the north is king with the Meat & Potato Pie. I have coveted 4 of the best & squirelled them home for my pleasure. Yummo.
The rain has followed us, so Saturday we visited Ulverston, a charming market town & wandered around the cobbled streets to visit the Laurel & Hardy Museum. Stan Laurel was born here. The museum runs their movies continuously, so we sat & watched a few. Still get a giggle.
