Watt Knot Travels

I think I deserve a medal for outstanding services to tourism. I was out there in 3°c trying to fend off the icebucket weather in the search of history.
Lets start at Bosworth Battlefield where Richard III was slain, ending the War of the Roses. Poor Richard had his naked body taken to Leicester where he was miraculously resurrected from the council carpark 500 years later. Probability has it that we are not even walking on the actual battlefield as later evidence found a more likely site 2 miles away. A farmers field turned up a lot of cannonballs!
Queen Elizabeth I was a regular visitor to Kenilworth Castle. She would travel up from London with her 400-strong entourage. No wonder Robert Dudley built a set of apartments just for her. They were an item, but despite Dudley's best efforts Queenie would not marry him. Maybe because he was already married, or worse still the stigma of the mysterious death of his wife later on.
That was my week. I didn't manage to get past Sunday without bringing the flu with me. I tried to get out of bed Tuesday morning only to pass out in the bathroom. Jon & I both got our first aid certificates before we left Australia knowing events may cause us to use them.
D = Is the patient in danger? No
R = Is there any response? No
S = Send for help

It's ok. I did manage to regain consciousness before an ambulance was dispatched, & firmly said thanks but no thanks.
