Thanksgiving day was a normal day here except Sam and Aaron invited us over for dinner. They had cooked the most delicious Thanksgiving dinner I’ve ever had! We sat out on their back deck for hours talking while the kids played. Just a really lovely evening with dear friends. Rose had us cracking up with her disheveled turkey look the next morning. No Black Friday shopping here but our packages that had been caught up in the protests finally arrived! After school we all headed out to Bluff Beach where our house was located. We spent the afternoon and evening settling in and enjoying the pool! Saturday was our Thanksgiving day which consisted of beach, pool, cooking and eating. We had the best time! The house didn’t have a TV and we left all tablets at home so the kids just played and played for hours. We ended up with 17 people for dinner. It was hard to leave the next morning but we were truly grateful for this special weekend with our friends.
