It started out as a beautiful day so we biked 20 minutes out to our favorite beachside pool. Walker quickly befriended a group of local kids. They raced around the beach and swam in the pool together for hours. When I asked Walker how they were communicating, he let me know he was speaking English with a Spanish accent. We have some work to do there, but regardless the language barrier didn’t seem to be a problem!
Blythe & Rose have been obsessed with the song “We Will Rock You”. We’ve listened to it close to 100 times in the last several weeks. As luck would have it, the song came on at the pool & the girls started rocking out in the water immediately. Overcome with excitement, Blythe shouted out, “this is the best

Stormy Saturday
Bocas
It started out as a beautiful day so we biked 20 minutes out to our favorite beachside pool. Walker quickly befriended a group of local kids. They raced around the beach and swam in the pool together for hours. When I asked Walker how they were communicating, he let me know he was speaking English with a Spanish accent. We have some work to do there, but regardless the language barrier didn’t seem to be a problem!
Blythe & Rose have been obsessed with the song “We Will Rock You”. We’ve listened to it close to 100 times in the last several weeks. As luck would have it, the song came on at the pool & the girls started rocking out in the water immediately. Overcome with excitement, Blythe shouted out, “this is the best
day of my life!!”. We love the absolute joy Queen brings to our daughters right now.
The usual mid-afternoon storm rolled in suddenly & fiercely. The kids loved swimming in the downpour. We couldn’t get them out of the water. The rain went on & on for hours, but the kids swam the entire time. When we finally got them out of the pool, we flagged down a truck taxi, threw our bikes in the back & got a ride home. After 6 straight hours of swimming & 3 hours of raging rain, we were all grateful for the ride!
