Halloween was a several day extravaganza! Friday was the school Halloween party followed by a birthday party on the beach after school. Saturday was the dog costume party in town with a live band and bingo! Sunday all our friends came over for pumpkin decorating. We were all treated to incredible guitar and harmonica music by our friends and even Dennis joined in! It really was one of our more magical experiences in Panamá - just singing songs, laughing with friends while the kids ran around the yard. So much joy in these small things! The plan had been to go trick or treating downtown on Tuesday but the protests in Panamá City have intensified, so the party was cancelled in solidarity of the protests. We decided to get dressed up anyway and did a Halloween candy hunt in our yard, made lasagna and watched Transylvania.
