Panama

Walker and I woke up at 3:30am this morning to take a 4x4 jeep up to the highest point in Panama. It is a dormant volcano, Volcan Baru, where you can see the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Caribbean Sea on the other. It’s quite the trek up to the top. There were many times I thought our jeep would topple over! Walker & I played many rounds of 20 Questions to keep ourselves distracted from the treacherous drive. We arrived up top just before sunrise around 5:30am. It was shockingly cold - about 35 degrees Fahrenheit! We felt like we were back in Alaska! Our guides set up a sweet little breakfast for us to enjoy as we watched the sunrise. It was such a cool and unique experience!
