With just two days to go before I wave goodbye to Cornwall, I have (just about) begun preparing for my adventures and am over the moon to be starting them in the most exotic place of them all...Manchester. With an endless list of things that I should be doing lying on the table next to me, I have somehow decided that starting up a blog and eating Cheerios is a much larger priority than buying travel insurance or getting my hands on some Thai currency...
My bank account has been a bit disturbed in this last month with Christmas, vaccinations, countless travel essentials, car troubles and most importantly, numerous trips to the pub to say my farewell's; although it's safe to say I have now got a fair slab of "survival fat" just in case I find myself surrounded by nothing but spicy foods (am I really going to Asia...?!).
With all my friends back at university, my nurse has become my new best friend; I never thought that getting a needle jabbed into my arm would be the highlight of my week... I plan to keep you all updated but whether that will be every day or every week of every month, I am still unsure. Watch this space anyway.
