Camino 2017

Our destination today is Ledigos a small village in the middle of the seemingly endless expanse of “space” that dominates the province of Palencia. The walk was flat and straight and a nice cloud cover prevailed. Our luck held out as the rain began just after we arrived at the hotelito. Tonight we stay at a newly opened ‘hotelito designed to replicate the Albergues. Mark somehow arranged to have his laundry done even though no services are provided. We will see if he gets it back! He like most of us has gotten stronger each day.

Bill and Diane spent 52 euro's on wine which Bill is still trying to figure out since it is 2.50 euros a glass. We say goodbye to Judy our friend and guide for awhile. We dodged a huge bullet today as our 24 Kms were flat with no rain (as predicted) or sun. Everyone sailed except Lynn who is struggling with blisters!

Another 25 tomorrow but finally the same Hotel for two nights ....
