America on the road

Houston is awesome.
We stayed at the Ramada near George Bush International Airport, which is miles from central Houston so after we arrived and dropped out bags off it was pretty much straight back into the car to drive back to the city.
We wandered around main street until we decided on Bovine and Barley for dinner, it had a poe quote on the wall in pink neon lights so i knew we were onto a winner. Jamie had a lager and I had two pine creek whiskeys ($4 for a 1.5oz shot - who am i to say no to that!).
Dinner was spectacular, cook-your-own steak on a hot rock and steak salad.
Great nights sleep, wish I had a king size bed at home...*hint, hint*
