America on the road
On our way, we went via the Hoover Dam, I can't explain how amazing that man made structure looked as the sun was setting, it was an amazing sight for us after the gross heat of Laughlin earlier in the day.
Our first night in Vegas, we had no place to stay so instead drove down the strip, saw the bright lights in all their glory, parked up and explored for a little while. Then we realised that Vegas heat doesn't stop when the sun goes down so after grabbing some Panda Express (yummy orange chicken) we hot footed it back to the car and went to a drive in movie theatre.
DRIVE-INS ARE THE BEST! I mean apart from having to turn the car on for A/C every now and again seeing Jurassic World from the comfort of the car was amazing! If you can find one near you, Go!

Arizona to Vegas

Immediately. Also being in the car meant I could talk all I wanted about the stupid decisions that were being made (not sure Jamie appreciated my commentary, but he went to sleep half way through so, screw him).
Lacking a room, and it being about half three in the morning we looked for our nearest Walmart, because you can totes sleep in their carparks. The sleep wasn't the worst.
Woke up, went to check out the neon museum and bummed around until we could check in to the Silver Sevens, our home away from home in Vegas.
