America on the road

We happened upon Snake River, Idaho just when the Snake River Stampede was on. The Snake River Rodeo is kind of a big deal in these parts, cowboys ride Horses, rope baby Bulls, put on a mini play in the middle - involving live bison - and finally ride Bulls. Rodeo’s are very cool but I don’t really get them, like if one has to rope a Bull or a Bison in order to survive, then go for it but you don’t have to, so don’t. That being said the Snake River Stampede seemed incredibly humane, the animals all looked well trained and well looked after. While we were at the rodeo we had beer, delivered via a base pump with a magnet (see pictures), and Chorizo hotdogs, which have rendered all other hotdogs unnecessary in my life.
We spent the night in a nearby hotel and got back on the road the next day.
