Well, considering how late we got to sleep last night, we were pretty tired this morning. We got up and started packing up. Around noon we headed towards the train station. On the way we stopped for some lunch. Compared to last night, today was pretty uneventful. The train ride was just under two hours. The scenery between Florence and Venice reminded me a lot of the prairies. Lots of flat land covered by a variety of crops.

Arriving in Mestre, we had to walk about ten minutes to the apartment, which is quite nice. It is very different from the other places as it is more in a suburban neighbourhood. It is very quiet and lovely. We grabbed some groceries then walked down the street for dinner. Early bed time tonight.
