Dwayne's European Tour

So we had to leave Rome today. It was a little hard to go, as we felt we could have stayed in this marvelous city for another five days. We really enjoyed our time here and felt like we barely scraped the surface of what there is to see and do here. We felt like this is a place we would love to come back to one day. Inshallah ;)

The only consolation was that we were able to go to Florence! We loaded on the bus with all our luggage like pros. We caught a train that looked like a bullet train on the outside. And it did not disappoint. We hit speeds of 260 km/hr! The scenery was beautiful...green mountains, planted fields, and quaint little towns all

over the place.

We easily found our place in Florence. Freshened up and relaxed for a bit then headed out to explore for the evening. We had a delicious dinner just around the corner from our place. It was cute and quiet. After dinner we walked around the corner and discovered we were in a bustling city. Our end of town was the place to be. Locals and tourists flooded the streets. We strolled down the street and found some amazing gelato popsicles. We discovered some stunning piazzas and even took in the outside of the Duomo. It was pretty spectacular to see as the sun was setting. After our stroll, we picked up some groceries and headed home for the night.
