Well today was a travel day. Thankfully it was pretty uneventful. We had to hike from our apartment to the train station with all our luggage. That got us nice and sweaty. We were able to recover with a 3 hour train ride to Rome.

When we reached Rome, we needed to figure out how to get to Trastevere. We thought we could take a train but gut working for information told us we had to take a bus. So we got our tickets and went for a bus ride. A hot and sweaty bus ride. Apparently it was the hottest day in Rome this year. When we reached our stop we had to walk to the apartment, again lugging our suitcases. Apparently, we should have taken the train. Now we know!

The apartment was lovely. We unpacked then went in search of food and then some groceries. Tonight we just chilled, did some laundry, and enjoyed the higher-speed internet.
