Dwayne's European Tour

We packed up and headed down to the bus station this morning, but not before having some play time at the park again. We waited for our van to pick us up which took us to another van, which we transferred over to. After waiting for a few more passengers, we left for Slovenia. The drive took about 2 and half hours from Mestre to Ljubljana. It started raining around the Slovenian border. We were dropped off right outside our apartment where our host was waiting for us. He was super nice.

We settled in and then went out for our usual dinner and grocery shop. Ironically, the kids both had Italian food – tortellini and gnocchi. It was excellent. Jen and I shared a huge plate of meat – pork chops, grilled chicken, and pork cutlet. Can you tell we were looking for a change in our meal? After groceries, Jen and I walked around a bit to find her a tea. It's hard for us to not use the Italian phrases we picked up over the past twenty days. Now we're trying to learn the Slovenian phrases of please, thank you, hello, and goodbye.
