Day 25

Another beautiful sleep in day and another beautiful day in Ljubljana. After lunch, we grabbed a bus to take us just northwest outside of the city. We walked down a nice country road to the place where we would be white water rafting! We got there pretty early before our scheduled time but they had a nice beach volleyball court and grass area that we played in. Threw a frisbee around and played some 2 on 2 volleyball.

When our time to get ready approached, we were suited up with wetsuits. We climbed aboard the van and drove about 15 minutes down the river. Our kids were so excited for their first rafting

adventure. The river was pretty calm and peaceful with only a few small rapids. It was good for the kids first but Jen and I were hoping for a few more bigger rapids. Next time. Our guide, Janis, was so nice and even let the kids jump out of the raft into the freezing cold water. The rafting trip seemed to go by too quickly and soon we were back at the rafting center.

We walked back to the main road and then rode the bus back to the city center, where we enjoyed dinner by the river again. It is our last day in Ljubljana and I miss this town. It is so relaxing but there is also lots to do if you want to be active. Hopefully we will come back here one day.
