My diary

Today, we woke up not wanting to do anything. But, unfortunately, we still had to continue our trip. Our destination today is, Montgomery, Alabama, 590 miles away. This time, we had to stop two times, for gas, with a total of $34.90. Before we continued our trip to Montgomery, we passed by the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum in Nashville. This time though, we hadn't researched anything about Alabama, so we stopped and looked for tourists attractions near us. Vivi, "Oh, here's a good idea. Let's go learn about the Civil Rights Movement." We headed to the Rosa Parks Museum. The entrance cost us $7.50 each, so in total it was $22.50. Before we entered, Carlos was hangry, so we stopped at Subway so he can get his two subs. Now we enter the museum. It included a permanent exhibit, a time machine, a temporary exhibit space, archives, classrooms, an auditorium, and a conference room. Here, we learned about the bus boycott and Rosa Park's historic act that changed the world forever. Back then, black people were forced to sit at the back of the bus, while white people sat in front of the bus. One day, Rosa sat in front of the bus and refused to give up her seat to a white person. After that, history was changed. We felt pretty exhausted after this, so we headed to the Sonesta Es Suites for $99. Today, we spent $156.40, leaving us with a total of $2,963.84.
