My diary

Today, we traveled 452 miles to Meteor Crater, located in Arizona, but first, we have to fill up our tank. 10 gallons times $3.30, would cost us $33. Because our destination is farther than our possible distance travel due to gas circumstances, we had to fill up our tank halfway through our destination, which cost us a total of $57.
When we arrived at Meteor Crater, there were a lot of people, so we had to wait in line for a long time. Vivi researched some details about Meteor Crater. She found out that an asteroid collided with Earth 50,000 years ago. The Meteor Crater is 1 mile across 2.4 miles in circumference and more than 550 ft. deep. The crater is an international tourist place with outdoor observation trails, wide screen movie theater, gift shop, and an Astronaut Memorial Park. There's a memorial park because the crater was used for Apollo Astronaut training because the surface of the crater is similar to the surface of the moon.
After waiting in line for 30 minutes, the scorching heat from the sun and dying from dehydration, we made it to the gate. We had to pay $9 each, a total of $27, just to see a damn crater. We decided not to take the tour, since we are under pressure with our budget. After walking 2o minutes and taking pictures of the crater, we entered the movie theater and finally went to the gift shop. We bought one $5 meteor key chain and kept it for later.
All of that walking, made us hungry. Subway here we come! We ordered 3-foot longs with a cookie, chips, and water. Today was a good day. After a tiring, but exciting day, we went to Econolodge and rented one room with two beds for $45. That's the last thing we did.
At the end of the day, we counted our remaining money, and surprisingly , we didn't exceed our budget of $200 per day. We spent only $134, leaving us with a remainder of $3,866 for our trip.
