My diary

Day 4: The torture doesn't stop (Vivi doesn't stop singing!). We got out of San Antonio (still questioning why we skipped New Mexico). Today, we are going to travel to Oklahoma City, a 7 hour drive with 467 miles to go. First, we refilled our gas in Texas, for a total of $10.22. Then, since gas is cheaper in Oklahoma, we refilled completely for $20.10. That day, we spent $30.32 in gas. So, our destination today is the Oklahoma City Memorial. Since we are students, the entrance tickets were cheaper for us, costing us $12 per person, for a total of $36. We entered the museum and discovered the importance of this national memorial; the people that were killed, the ones that survived, and those changed forever.
April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City, BOMBS! Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. 168 people died and many other hundred were injured. The attack was led by anti-government militant, Timothy McVeigh. His co-conspirator, Terry Nichols, was sentenced to life in prison. Vanessa, "Such a tragic story."
After we got out of the memorial, HUNGER STRUCK AGAIN! Today, we felt the need for a sandwich, so we went to Subway, and to our surprise, we ran into Russell Westbrook. We offered him an exchange, a sandwich for his autograph, and he agreed. Carlos, "BEST DAY OF MY LIFE."
After that, we sadly went back to the hotel. This time though, we decided to treat ourselves and go to a good hotel. We paid $90 for the room. At the end of the day, we had $3,429.38 left in our budget.
