Is it a plane? Is it a hawk? Is it a kitty? IT'S KITTY HAWK! Today, we are leaving Lost Colony, N.C. and making our way to Kitty Hawk, N.C. We traveled around 19 miles to our destination. The gas cost us $2.46 per gallon, but since we have half a gallon, we bought half a gallon for $1.23. Before we went anywhere, Gaby had to prove herself in order to travel anywhere with us. We first went to Subway and bought her two Kitty Hawk Foot longs, which are special ham with bacon and tuna. After that, we went to a nearby tattoo parlor and we forced her to prove herself worthy of being in the Economic Trio + One. After hearing her cry for an hour, she was finally done with her Kitty Hawk tattoo; and she was finally accepted into the Economic Trio, which now makes us the Economic Trio + One.
Next, we headed to The Wright Brothers Monument. Gaby, "Fun Facts: (1) The Kitty Hawk was reserved in compasses at 1,824 acres of maritime deciduous swamp, forest, and marsh. Of this area, the Town of Kitty Hawk owns 461 undeveloped acres. (2) Kitty Hawk was unheard of until 1903, when the town became famous thanks to the Wright Brothers. (3) It's name originates from a Native Indian name for the area related to the hunting of geese, as in "Killy honker" or "Killy honk."
Now, we went to The Wright Brothers National Memorial. Here, we saw their plane model. Carlos, "Too much material for a biplane, but it looks good."
Today, we are staying at a $60 hotel. For today, we spent a total of
