My diary

Today, we are leaving South Dakota and traveling 508 miles to Denver Colorado. The gas price was $2.24 per gallon, so in total, we paid $28.44. The first place we went to was the was the Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado. Thankfully, the cost was free. Carlos, "Even though we didn't consume any samples, we still had a lot of fun learning about the history of the Coors Brewery." Gaby, "Here's some interesting facts: (1) The regional brewer gained national prominence in the 1960s and 1970s, but only officially achieved national distribution in 1986. (2) Coors operates the world's largest brewery at its headquarters in Golden, Colorado, and distributes its 13 branded malt beverages in 30 countries worldwide-although 98 percent of revenues are generated in the United States. (3) The company's technological innovations, including the development of both the first cold-filtered beer and the first aluminum can in 1959, also placed it in the vanguard of the beer industry."
Next, we went to take a tour to learn about the U.S. Currency and hot it's produced. Vivi, "Here's some interesting facts we learned: (1) On April 2, 1792, Congress passed The Coinage Act, which created the Mint and authorized construction of a Mint building in Philadelphia, what was when the nation's capital. (2) The Mint is the nation's sole manufacturer of legal tender coinage and is responsible for producing circulating coinage for the Nation to conduct its trade and commerce. (3) The Mint has connected America through coins for 225 years." After a long day in Colorado, we stayed at a Super 8 Hotel for $64. We then counted how much money we spent today, which came out to $92.44. We now have a budget of $1,493.65.
