Europe 2023

Weather 5 to 19 rain in the afternoon.

Decided to have a day walking down to the Isar River.
Mark has not had his Navigator Badge returned as we turn right, not left and added 3km to the walk.
He’s on notice.
Excellent river that actually flows and doesn’t look like mud, quite wide and seems to go forever. Lots and lots of walking paths and people out enjoying themselves. The Wisselbach Bridgethat we went to ( bonus points for anyone who can tell why it's called that) has the now obligatory paddle lock collection.

There is a bar on a disused rail line that is a old boat. Exemplary recycling.

Yesterday was probably the last day of summer. Temperatures in the next week in low teens if we are lucky. Home via the local cemetery and some quick grocery shopping because on Sunday nothing is open.

Went to dinner at the local vegan Asian restaurant only 120 m up the road. Appears they only take cash or PayPal. Cash we did not have and PayPal was just to much.
Back to home for tomato soup and toast and teriyaki skewers from the local market.
Not the most active day, but very enjoyable.

Going to an arts festival with Mick and Sean on Sunday. It should be interesting in an avant garde sort of way.

We won’t make any comment on the referendum results, but given New Zealand elections we are looking at Munich.
