Europe 2023

Bit of a down day today.

Bern spent 14hours perfecting her "corpse pose" but jet lag is still pretty fierce.
Emergency outing this morning for coffee and pastry but probably another day for us to get back to semi normal.
So many pastries to choose from.......
I'm sure we bounced back faster in earlier decades.
The great advantage of being in the one place for a month id "there's always tomorrow."

Mark went for an expedition walk to Munich Cemetery which is only a couple of block from our stay.
There's been a cemetery on the site since 1132 but most is now from the 19th century.
Think Rookwood with more money.

The local supermarket is only a 5min walk and is 2 storey with travelators.
A food (essen in German) Bunnings.
The wine section is the size of a Dan Murphys.
It sourced dinner very nice;y.
Looking forward to a full functional day on Thursday with a couple of parks, a war memorial and at least on church on the agenda. After a coffee of course.
