Day 31 Munich All Saints Day

This is Munich and All Saints Day so of course it is a Public Holiday.
Everything closed but people out and about because the weather is excellent, sunny and 16.
Saw families headed out for the day for a picnic. Looked like they were going camping.

Spent most of the morning packing , cleaning and lazing about.

Off to Mick and Sean’s for pasta lunch then the Augustiner Bau beer hall for beer and chips.
The Brewery that owns the place has been brewing since 1328. The company doesn’t advertise just assuming the beer is so good they don’t need to.

Quite a fixture in Munich it has a large garden presently being renovated and a bit of a mess and an enormous hall and restaurant that seats hundreds.
Usual fare of pork, sausage, meat and potato offered and of course beer.
We only tried the beer and potatoes while trying to remember the rules of Carcassonne the board game.
Pitch black by 5.30 so off home with many locals on the Ubahn.
