#Factor50Shades Darker

So, my journey starts here. My first summer holiday as a teacher and the first holiday I've planned myself. When I say planned myself, I told my dad about all the lovely things I wanted to do and he planned and booked it all... same same!

Time to destination: 1 hour
Hours slept: 3
Films watched: The Longest Ride
Times cried watching film: 3

Once I arrived in SA we went over to stay at Simon and Ocea's house at the dam. It is a lovely little house surrounded by wild springbok and monkeys.

Outside, it is a bearable 20 degrees and Ocea is making her famous lemon meringue pie (Yes this pie features in all of my diaries).
It's now later on, the pie has been eaten, Ocea has a rule about only having two of everything (bit like God when he put all those animals on the boat) but instead of animals she relates it to treats. Two biscuits, two sweets, apparently two ice creams isn't one. So my excitement was high when I knew it was pie time. Waiting patiently for my two pies I began to salivate. Out came the solitary pie to be shared between the group. Confusion flooded my face. Apparently her rule of two of everything doesn't extend to whole pies which is disappointing.
