We decided to have a beach day after our busy boat trip so we met Franz on the beach and set up camp in the shade. While digging in the sand he found a small black arm from a child’s action man doll.
“Here’s a gift for you!” He handed me the tiny hand. I observed it’s little fingers and strong muscles..how he would regret giving me this toy limb!
For most of the afternoon I attempted to pick stuff up with it, touch Laura’s butt and comb Franz’s facial hair. He called me weird which is rude! I thought I could offer people massages and then when they accept, I whip out my tiny black hand and poke them aggressively with it! Mwhahaha! #imnotweird
Tan progress is coming on nicely, my birth mark on the back of my leg shines white in contrast to my bronzed flesh! I just have to avoid standing near anyone else other than the other two gingers on the island!
A Dutch guy from Franz’s hostel joined us and told us about his traumatic experience in Bangkok with a massage. He was getting massaged by a very nice Thai man who apparently was taking to him a little too well. Up the leg and brushing over to the other one. His face horror struck, his friend’s collapsing in hysterics.
“Ah! You very big boy! I can massage!” Said the friendly Thai man.
His friend now completely dying with laughter, he politely declined and is now too scared to get a massage in Thailand again. He didn’t even want one from my tiny black hand. Rude!
In the evening Laura and I went for a curry and met an Australian girl from Sydney while we were there. She was really sweet and we chatted a bit about her job in Singapore. Afterwards we headed to a movie at Banana Bar. They were playing the big sick, it was pretty funny and a bit sad (I should be a movie critic, that was an incredible description).
After having a few nights out we decided to make it an early one. I hopped into bed and drifted to sleep. All of a sudden, I felt something brush my arm.. “What the?” I thought in my sleepy state. A dark figure launched itself on my bed.
“What is that?!” I shouted!
“Oh it’s a cat! It’s just a cat everyone!” I shouted to the room.
No one answered but the couple in the bed above me were laughing! Laughing!! Animals in this country are out to get me! I chucked it off my bed and it ran around the room and then took to chewing my curtain and playing in my bag. I couldn’t settle with the fear of it jumping into my bed again so I chucked him outside and went back to sleep.
