#Factor50Shades Darker

As night began to fall, we were at the peak. Front row seats (stands?) allowed us the best views of the city below. As I looked over the banister, I started to ponder life. What is the meaning of it all? What would my spirit animal be?
“Squarrrk!” What the...?
“Oh lovely, yes mommy, now give me thumbs up!” A photographer stood holding a plastic chicken. Each time he wanted a smile he squeezed the chicken to make it squeak. Two hours later and this was still annoying.
We had moved on from ‘what is life?’ to more important things like mine and Racheal's love for Queer Eye. This was followed by many, many, many impressions of Johnathan. “Yaas honey, yas!”
We covered Mean Girls, Orange is the New Black, Jane the Virgin..the list goes on. Like me, she enjoys quoting songs and movies so that kept us entertained until the sun went down. As night began to fall, we were at the peak. Front row seats (stands?) allowed us the best views of the city below. As I looked over the banister, I started to ponder life. What is the meaning of it all? What would my spirit animal be?

When we looked across, Sophia and Paloma were listening to music with headphones. Hmm...perhaps not everyone was enjoying the

songs and bad impersonations.
With each passing minute, more and more lights flashed on below and soon the sky was covered in a blanket of darkness with the illuminated city below us. We stood and stared until I actually wondered if my feet would fall off.
The day was ended with some Dim Sum at a place called ‘Dim dim sum’ (too many dims!) I was stuffed by the time we finished our meal. My feet in tatters and a rash from my thighs rubbing together (need to go running.)
“My chub rub is so sore!” I might walk like this. I walked in a star shape not worrying that I might be embarrassing everyone.
“You could start a trend.” Sophia encouraged kindly.
“That’s what the white people do! The Chinese would think.” Racheal added. I could picture China, inspired by me and my chubby thighs, waddling away across the streets of Hong Kong! But it wasn’t meant to be. People are still doing the basic walking thing! Perhaps I’ll need a celebrity to endorse the walk! Someone bow legged perhaps, or with a thigh gap?
I’d sort out the finer details later, for the moment, it was bed time. We said our farewells to Racheal and Sophia and made our way into our hostel.
