#Factor50Shades Darker

So the morning came and so did my old friend, the hang over! He’s a nasty bugger, creeps up to you in the night like the boogie man! Everyone looked like hell as they attempted and failed to eat their eggs and watermelon. But no one felt as bad as Scottish Lisa.

Time to settle up. Because I’m a good girl I actually was owed a few thousand on my drinks wrist band. Most people were about even or minus a few thousand that they would have to pay back at the hostel. Then it was Lisa’s turn.
11 million dong!
Just to put it into perspective that’s more money than my entire stay in Vietnam! £400! Not only was it the round of shots that cost her an arm and leg, her spleen and pancreas were taken by the cost of losing three wrist bands at 1.5 million each.
“I don’t have the money!” She pleaded. I’m not sure she fully understands how buying things works but needless to say they didn’t care and told her she had to pay.

We all felt like death on the long trip home, especially on the death bus. A tiny mini bus hurtled dangerously around the cliffs tipping us one side to the other! I thought my arm would break from bracing myself on the seat next to me. When we arrived at the main coach and then at the hostel I felt grateful to still be alive. The travelling wasn’t over though, I was booked on a night bus to go to Sa Pa.
