#Factor50Shades Darker

Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to have educated parents. Hartbeespoort

Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am to have educated parents. They have really inspired me to go forth and seek out my own further education which has now led me into my teaching career and I can pass on their wisdom to each generation onwards. That's why it's so important to have deep and meaningful conversations with others. To learn and grow. Like this one for example:

Discussing the flaws in weather predictions a statement was made. "They've been recording the weather for 100 years." I awaited more insight into the issue. Perhaps my dad will teach me how hurricanes are formed, perhaps he will explain the history of the ice age...
"Weather's actually been around for a really long time you know!"
There are no words.

So with our brains and good looks both requiring improvement, we headed off to Hartbeespoort to ride the cable cars up the mountain that according to Simon is "Really steep!" Honestly, my brain can hardly contain such ground breaking information from those two!

Once we had travelled back down the mountain and recovered from the acrophobia we headed to Paris. Not the real one in France mind, just the small one near that random, steep mountain in the middle of South Africa.

Paris turned out to be a restaurant/ movie set. The movie was called French Toast. We ate french toast! It was good times.
