Ocea kindly booked for Granny and me to go on a baking course. I was excited yet nervous but entirely confident that I would be crap. Luckily, there was just the two of us in the class and Granny could hold her own. Me on the other hand, I had to have 1:1 support for each step for each cake. In teacher terms I would have been her working towards expectations child or lower ability pupil!
Somehow, we made it back to Ocea's laden with lemon meringue cup cakes, red velvet cakes and Florentines. They all tasted good too. I sound surprised, the teacher practically did it all herself due to me being inept.
