My trip to Meteor Crater will take about 7 hours and 6 minutes. On this trip i'm not just going to have fun, I am also going there to learn from the history of Meteor Crater. Before leaving beautiful Borrego, I am going to fill my car with gas, and that will cost $74. I am all set and ready to start this exciting journey. I'm currently on the Borrego Salton Sea Way. ...Oops sorry! I got distracted with music, and lost track of my Diary. I just arrived to Desert Center. It was time to stretch. I am back on the road, and have, only 5 hours and 17 minutes till the destination! I'll fill you in once I make another stop. I just arrived to Kingman AZ, and i'm pretty darn tired from driving. Good thing i only have 2 hours and 50 min to go :). Finally, after a long drive I have finally arrived to Meteor Crater in Arizona. I am so excited to start exploring this place, and hopefully learn some history. I am currently at the front desk purchasing my ticket. Each ticket is $9, per person. I am now down to $117/$200. Let the magic begin. It is so amazing, and the crater is huge. Meteor Crater is the breath taking result of a collision between an asteroid traveling 26,000 mph, and planet Earth approximately 50,000 years ago. I have been here for approximately 2 hours just looking at the breath taking view of the amazing mark of the meteor. I am now on my way to the Interactive Discovery Center. (IDC) contains many invigorating displays and exhibits. This is the most extensive and informative museum of its type on Earth. Before I leave, I HAVE TO stop by the gift shop to buy something to keep as a souvenir, to remember my amazing experience. I bought a sticker of $5. I am now down to $126/$200. I am now headed back to the car. Few, I am pretty tired! I'm now on my way to Motel 10 (where I will be staying for the night), only 30 min away from Meteor Crater. I now have arrived to my home for the night. Since it is only myself I will be checking out only one room. For one night they charged me $50 for everything. I am now down to $76/$200. I had so much fun visiting the amazing Meteor Crater located in Arizona. I cannot wait for what is next. Pictures of my experience are going to be inserted right.
