A Reading From My Diary

I am now leaving Tombstone, Arizona. Before i leave though, i have to feed my car some fuel. I am stopping at Ike's Mini Market/Gas Station. I spent $98 on gas for a full tank. I am all set start the rest of the journey alone, because my two parters catches an awful flu, and decided to give up, and go back home... i would've taken some meds, but that's just my opinion ;). To whole trip is going to take 11 hours and 53 minutes, just to get to San Antonio. This should be easy, because I don't have to worry about others, now that I am solo on this journey. Well like the law states "No texting, and driving." I will fill you in once I am low on fuel, and have to stop to refill, and to stretch, because driving long distance isn't easy. I have now arrived to Fort Stockton, TX after driving for 7 hours and 41 minutes. I am above the red line on the gas meter, almost of E, and i have to stop to gas ASAP. I decided to stop at Flying J, a gas station located Fort St. I spent a total of $37 for a full tank. I am now back on the road, headed to San Antonio. I have 4 hours and 20 minutes left from my destination. Finally after a LONG trip, I have now arrived to San Antonio, TX. San Antonio is a major city in south-central Texas with a rich colonial heritage. The Alamo, an 18th-century Spanish mission preserved as a museum, marks an infamous 1836 battle for Texan independence from Mexico. Following the San Antonio River, the miles-long River Walk is a landmark pedestrian promenade lined with cafes and shops. What makes San Antonio a historical city ? Well... The Battle of the Alamo (February 23 – March 6, 1836) was a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna launched an assault on the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio, Texas, United States), killing all of the Texian defenders. Santa Anna's cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians—both Texas settlers and adventurers from the United States—to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the revolution. Several months previously, Texians had driven all Mexican troops out of Mexican Texas. In the early morning hours of March 6, the Mexican Army advanced on the Alamo. Within Mexico, the battle has often been overshadowed by events from the Mexican–American War of 1846–48. In 19th-century Texas, the Alamo complex gradually became known as a battle site rather than a former mission. The Texas Legislature purchased the land and buildings in the early part of the 20th century and designated the Alamo chapel as an official Texas State Shrine. The Alamo is now "the most popular tourist site in Texas". The Alamo has been the subject of numerous non-fiction works beginning in 1843. Most Americans, however, are more familiar with the myths and legends spread by many of the movie and television adaptations, including the 1950s Disney mini-series Davy Crockett and John Wayne's 1960 film The Alamo. Visiting San Antonio was such an amazing experience, and the history of this place is so rich. I will definitely be back here in the future. I am so tired, i'm going to start looking for cheap motels to stay in for the night. The place i'm staying is, Motel 6 in SA northwest. The total amount i paid for one bedroom is $46, I am now down to $19/$200. Well, this is all for today.
