A Reading From My Diary

Today I will be leaving Washington dc, and will be traveling to Philadelphia. The total time of this trip is going to take 3 hours and 3 minutes. Before I start driving towards my destination I will stop at the Sunoco Gas Station, that is 4 minutes away from my location at Hotel Hive. The total cost of my gas for this trip was $20. I am now headed to Philadelphia. I have now arrived to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. This trip wasn't that long of a drive. Here in Philadelphia I will be learning about the American first famous seamstress, The room in which framers designed the first laws and documents of America, as well as "Ding, Ding, Crack, (pass and stowe). The first American seamstress is, perhaps the best-known figure from the American Revolutionary era who wasn’t a president, general or statesman, Betsy Ross (1752-1836) became a patriotic icon in the late 19th century when stories surfaced that she had sewn the first “stars and stripes” U.S. flag in 1776. Though that story is likely apocryphal, Ross is known to have sewn flags during the Revolutionary War. Elizabeth Griscom was born on January 1, 1752, in the bustling colonial city of Philadelphia. She was the eighth of 17 children. Her parents, Rebecca James Griscom and Samuel Griscom were both Quakers. The daughter of generations of craftsman (her father was a house carpenter), young Betsy attended a Quaker school and was then apprenticed to William Webster, an upholsterer. The room in which our framers designed the first laws and documents of America. The United States Declaration of Independence is the statement adopted by the Second Continental Congress meeting at the Pennsylvania State House (now known as Independence Hall) in Philadelphia on July 4, 1776. The Declaration announced that the thirteen American colonies, then at war with the Kingdom of Great Britain would now regard themselves as thirteen independent sovereign states, no longer under British rule. "Ding, Ding, Crack". The Liberty Bell is an iconic symbol of American independence, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Formerly placed in the steeple of the Pennsylvania State House (now renamed Independence Hall), the bell today is located in the Liberty Bell Center in Independence National Historical Park. I will be visiting The Franklin Institute located on 222 North 20th Street Philadelphia, PA 19103. It is 17 minutes of a drive, but before I go I will be stopping around the corner of (HOR), 1 minute away. Philadelphia Lukoil gas station is located on 4200 G St. Franklin Institute is 10 mi away. The amount of money I spent on gas is $14. I am on my way , headed to the institute. I am finally here, ready to explore, and learn! I'm at the front desk getting my ticket of which cost $23 for the museum. The Franklin Institute is a science museum and the center of science education and research in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US. what really caught my attention was the Escape Rooms. Using the most advanced cutting-edge technology and awe-inspiring immersive design, Escape Rooms at The Franklin Institute, transport guests to one of two fantastical worlds where a series of clues, codes, puzzles, and tasks lead teams to achieve an ultimate goal before time runs out! Another that caught my eye was the Foucault’s Pendulum. The Franklin Institute’s four-story Foucault’s Pendulum mimics an experiment undertaken by French physicist Jean-Bernard-Leon Foucault early in 1851. The experiment proved the nature of the Earth’s daily rotation around its axis. I am now leaving The Franklin Institute. I am headed to, Twenty two gallery located in 236 S 22nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 only 6 minutes away from the Frank Inst. I just arrived to 22 gallery, and it is the cutest little building. Since 2003, Twenty-Two Gallery has been showing local emerging and established artists’ work. The gallery represents 24 artists that work in many mediums including oil, pastel, watercolor, photography, sculpture, various printing processes as well as mixed media. This bright space with great light, nestled in Philadelphia’s premier neighborhood Rittenhouse Square, has art openings monthly on the "Second Friday" of each month. I am now headed to Rocky Balboa, which is located in Spring Garden St, Philadelphia, PA 19. from my location on 236 S 22nd St, Philadelphia, to the steps is a drive of 9 minutes. The 72 stone steps before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have become known as the "Rocky Steps" as a result of their appearance in the triple-Oscar-winning film Rocky and all of the series' sequels except for Rocky IV, in which the eponymous character runs up the steps to the song "Gonna Fly Now". I had so much fun here in Philadelphia, visiting the museums and the rocky steps was all too exciting. I am so tired, I should start looking for nearby lodges. I will be staying at the Penrose Hotel located in 2033 Penrose Ave. The hotel is 10 minutes away from my location. I am now on my way to the Hotel. I just got here, and honestly it is so nice, nothing luxurious, but so damn nice. Anyways, the total cost of my room is $61. I had so much Visiting Philadelphia. Tune is for the thirteenth Journey.
