Not too much to report today. It's our last full day in Wurzburg before we hit the road to head to the European Crankworx events.
I had hoped to make it to the residence to check it out, but our few errands we needed to run took up more time than expected, as is always the case before leaving for a trip. We'll be back though, so we have more time to explore.
After nine days, we had settled into the apartment so there was a lot of repacking to do. I also had to return our empties. Recycling is different here; there are sorting machines in every grocery store that give you a slip with the amount of your deposit which is then taken off your bill when you go to pay. I also wanted to do a little shopping to pick up essentials since we'll be staying in some small villages over the next few weeks.
We did come across a pretty funny sight in the market square though. A full band of about 20 students and a very vivacious singer who looked to be about 40 or so all dressed in construction gear. I wish I knew what they were singing about, but it was still entertaining all the same.
Smith enjoyed our little outings and especially the packing. He's getting really good at crawling into things, especially my suitcase!
Tyler got home later on and we had a nice ravioli dinner from the lady who he bought the other pasta off. Then it was time to rest up before we hit the road in the morning.
Our next destination is Ammerschwihr in the Alsace region of France which is about a four hour drive away. Hoping the little dude gets a good sleep and is in good spirits for another travel day!
