Tour de Smith

Today is another travel day to get to Innsbruck, Austria for the next Crankworx. But before we left I had to get my last Verona fix in.

Tyler worked on packing up the car and I took Smith to a boutique that I'd eyed up which was closed yesterday. I got some great pieces then headed back to the ready-made food store to pick up some goodies including a WHOLE prosciutto leg for the race truck at the event. Thank goodness we have a big stroller!

We piled back into the van for another four hour drive through the mountains. There were some pretty scenic moments, but Smith was ready to get out of the car. We pulled into Mutters around 3 p.m., which is a small mountain town just outside of Innsbruck that is hosting the actual event. Tyler chatted with some work people then we got back into the car to drive into Innsbruck where our Airbnb is.

The Airbnb is great - a nice, open apartment that is very tastefully decorated. We had a but of a hiccup though when we tried to bring our bikes into the unit. The hosts weren't having it and it wasn't the greatest first impression, but we worked through it.

Once we got a little settled we ventured into the city centre for dinner which was so beautiful. Lots of old and colourful buildings with majestic mountains in the background. We had a nice, tasty meal at a restaurant that cooks with all local food. Then we were back home to put the dude to bed. I even snuck in an episode of The Bachelorette while Tyler got some work done.
