Sunny and warm enough to have breakfast outside on the terrace this morning, overlooking the pretty bay of Villefranche sur Mer. The two cruise ships departed overnight, so there are only pleasure boats in sight this morning.

Sundays are big days for bike riders here in France (probably Italy too). We see large groups, on expensive machines, wearing colorful jerseys. Though many of them look as old or older than me, they're bronzed and wiry and fly up and down the numerous hills, on narrow, well trafficed roads, seemingly without much effort or fear.

Warm and sunny this afternoon.Great for relaxing and swimming at the pool before a busy day of travel and relocating ourselves tomorrow for 5 days in Rome. Scheduled to return our car at 8:00 am at the airport.
