It's not "the final frontier", like travel in outer space, but it is the final stage of our travel expedition. We had to leave the apartment on Via in Selci at 10:00, but our flight from Rome to Athens didn't leave until 3:00, so we had a lot of time to kill at the airport.

The flight went well. We had to check our bags, but they made it right along with us. We had another very nice and informative taxi driver from the airport to our hotel just like on the way to Rome.

The hotel is great! Excellent location and very nicely appointed. There's a Rick Steves group tour starting here tonight! Too bad we have to move to another hotel down the street when our tour starts in 2 days.

We had dinner at a fine restaurant called Balcony, just across the street from our hotel! Not populated by tourists, traditional menu, great prices. We're going back tomorrow!
