We washed our car and washed some clothes today in preparation for our last stop in France, Villefranche-sur-Mer, just east of Nice. Our hotel there is well above the village itself, reputedly with amazing views.

Took a short trip to the hill town of St Jeannet, just east of Vence. As described by Rick Steves, it is definitely not touristy .... sadly, there isn't even a boulangerie there! The streets were quiet until the school kids came trooping up the hill from their school for what we presume was to be a 2 hour lunch break. The views were good, but a local chihuahua bit Tina on the leg while we were at the panoramic viewpoint; fortunately, just put a hole in her pants, not a hole in her leg!

The weather was summery again today, so we had time to relax poolside. I swam, Tina didn't.
