Started the day in the usual pastry fashion and packed up all our gear so we could charge off and see one more site before rushing off again. This morning, we wanted to visit L’Arc du Triomphe. The metro was our friend and we popped up right outside for a whirlwind visit. Craig and I had never been, so we were very keen to see inside. More stairs for Benjamin to count - not getting tiresome AT ALL! Amazing structure and a cool view from the top. Especially to see the chaos of the roundabout from above.

Back to the apartment to check out and we headed off in a taxi to the Gare de Lyon, just in time to figure out we were a whole day early! Oops! Can’t believe “we” didn’t pick up on that earlier! Oh well, found a hotel to chill out in while we plan out dinner, update the diary, watch Netflix and sort any activities for our bonus day in Paris!
