Christmas Holiday

Up bright and early at 9am! We bundled up super warm and thank goodness we did, although “someone” left their gloves at the hotel. We headed straight for the subway and off downtown. Stopped for a coffee and croissant before checking out the New York Stock exchange building, the Fearless Girl and the Charging Bull. Chose not to take a pic with its butt (that queue was longer). Then we walked to the Staten Island Ferry terminal to see the Statue of Liberty. On to another subway to get out at Grand Central Station and to find some lunch - pizza and lobster rolls of course! Then we walked to the Rockefeller Centre and sat in a rink-side cabin for hot chocolates.

New York

As we weren’t too far away, we walked to Times Square to get our fill of digital billboards. We pushed on towards the Empire State Building and found ourselves hungry once again so naturally went into the nearest reastaurant - the Empire State Restaurant where Alex promptly fell asleep at the table. One more subway home and we are SO done!

One more thing, New York reeks of cannabis. And you can buy it everywhere!
